This Privacy Policy explains how ShopEarnPro, Corporation, doing business as BeeYard (“BeeYard,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you use app.beeyard.com and our related websites, applications, marketplace features, communications, and services (collectively, the “Services”).
This Policy applies to buyers, sellers, visitors, account holders, and other people who interact with the Services. It does not apply to third-party websites, applications, or services that have their own privacy policies.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide
Account and identity information, such as your name, username, email address, telephone number, password-related authentication data, profile image, date of birth or age confirmation, and account preferences.
Seller and business information, such as business name, address, contact details, tax information, payout details, licences, identity-verification information, and other information required to operate a seller account or comply with law.
Marketplace and transaction information, such as Listings, orders, offers, purchases, sales, delivery or pickup details, returns, refunds, disputes, reviews, and communications between users.
Payment information. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. We may receive transaction status, payment method type, billing details, and limited payment identifiers, but we do not necessarily receive or store full payment-card numbers.
Content and communications, including photos, descriptions, reviews, support requests, survey responses, reports, and other material you submit.
Consent and preference information, including privacy choices, cookie choices, notification preferences, and records of consent to optional SMS authentication messages.
1.2 Information collected automatically
Device and network information, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, language, approximate location derived from IP address, and mobile or network provider.
Usage information, such as pages viewed, searches, clicks, referring pages, session timestamps, feature interactions, errors, and other activity within the Services.
Cookie and similar-technology information used for authentication, preferences, security, analytics, and, where applicable and permitted, advertising. See Section 7.
Security and fraud information, such as login attempts, authentication events, risk signals, suspected abuse, and records needed to protect users and transactions.
1.3 Information from other sources
We may receive information from other users, identity and authentication providers, payment processors, delivery or logistics providers, fraud-prevention and verification providers, public sources, social sign-in providers, business partners, and authorities where permitted by law. If you use a third-party sign-in option, we receive the account information that the provider is authorized to share with us.
2. How we use personal information
We use personal information for purposes that include:
providing, personalizing, maintaining, and improving the Services;
creating and administering accounts, Listings, orders, payments, payouts, deliveries, reviews, returns, refunds, and disputes;
authenticating users, sending verification codes, securing accounts, preventing fraud and abuse, and enforcing our Terms of Service;
communicating about transactions, account activity, service changes, support, safety, and administrative matters;
providing marketing communications where permitted and subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements; this general purpose excludes mobile information and SMS consent data protected by Section 6;
conducting analytics, testing, research, troubleshooting, and product development;
meeting legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, reporting, insurance, and recordkeeping requirements; and
establishing, exercising, or defending legal rights and protecting BeeYard, our users, and others.
Depending on the jurisdiction, we process personal information with consent, to provide requested services or perform a contract, to comply with legal obligations, and for legitimate business purposes that are not overridden by applicable privacy rights. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.
3. How we disclose personal information
We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:
To other marketplace users. Information needed to evaluate a Listing, communicate, complete a transaction, arrange delivery or pickup, resolve a dispute, or display a public profile or review may be visible to or shared with other users.
To service providers that support hosting, data storage, authentication, payments, identity verification, fraud prevention, analytics, customer support, communications, delivery, professional services, and other business operations. They may use information only for authorized purposes and subject to appropriate obligations.
To business and integration partners when you request or use a connected service, promotion, referral, or feature, or otherwise direct us to make the disclosure.
For legal and safety reasons, including to comply with law, legal process, tax or regulatory obligations; respond to lawful requests; enforce agreements; investigate fraud or security incidents; and protect rights, property, safety, users, or the public.
In a corporate transaction, such as a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, insolvency, or related due diligence, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.
With your consent or at your direction.
We may use and disclose aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual, subject to applicable law. We do not sell personal information for money. If our practices constitute “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under a law applicable to you, we will provide any required notice and choices at Your privacy choices and rights.
4. Marketplace visibility
Because BeeYard is a marketplace, certain information is intended to be visible to others. Depending on how the Services are configured, this may include your display name, profile image, general location, seller information, Listings, ratings, reviews, and public responses. Transaction parties may receive contact, delivery, pickup, or other information reasonably needed to complete a transaction.
Do not post sensitive personal information in public Listings, profiles, reviews, or messages unless it is necessary and appropriate. Information you make public may be copied or used by others beyond BeeYard's control.
5. Payments and identity verification
Payment and payout providers may collect and process payment, banking, billing, identity, tax, and fraud-prevention information under their own privacy policies. BeeYard may receive verification results, transaction records, payout status, and limited identifiers. We may require additional verification for sellers, high-risk transactions, account recovery, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
6. SMS authentication and communications
If you voluntarily provide a mobile number and separately consent to the BeeYard SMS Authentication Program, we use it to deliver one-time passcodes and verification codes for account verification, sign-in, multi-factor authentication, and recovery. Program administration includes enrollment confirmations and HELP and opt-out handling. We do not use this consent to send marketing or promotional SMS.
We process your mobile number, enrollment and withdrawal choices, consent records, and message-delivery information to provide the program, protect accounts, document consent, honor opt-outs, and meet applicable obligations. Communications service providers and telecommunications carriers receive this information solely as necessary to deliver, route, secure, and support the program.
Mobile information is not shared for marketing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties except service providers necessary to operate the messaging program.
We do not sell mobile information or SMS consent records, share them for targeted advertising, or transfer consent to another party’s messaging program. These specific restrictions control over general descriptions of marketing, partners, disclosures, or corporate transactions elsewhere in this Policy. Any lawful successor operating the same program must honor these restrictions and your consent and opt-out choices.
SMS consent is optional and separate from accepting the Terms of Service. Consent is not a condition of purchasing goods or services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to the sending number to opt out or HELP for help. For US toll-free messaging, opting back in requires texting START or UNSTOP to the same number; an in-app code request alone does not reverse the carrier block.
Opting out may make SMS authentication unavailable. Contact support@beeyard.com for account-access assistance, or privacy@beeyard.com for a privacy request. We retain consent and opt-out records for as long as reasonably necessary to honor your choices, establish compliance, resolve disputes, and meet applicable retention obligations. Deleting an account does not necessarily delete records needed to prevent further messages.
See the SMS program terms for enrollment, cancellation, and support details.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, software development kits, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Services, prevent fraud, understand usage, measure performance, and, where applicable, support advertising.
You may control certain technologies through your browser or device settings. Strictly necessary technologies may be required for the Services to function. Disabling technologies may affect availability or performance. Where required, we obtain consent before using non-essential cookies or similar technologies.
This public information microsite does not use advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Its hosting provider may use essential security cookies and browser checks to prevent automated abuse. The broader practices described in this Policy apply to the marketplace and related Services as applicable.
8. Analytics, advertising, and automated tools
We may use analytics tools to understand and improve the Services. If BeeYard uses interest-based advertising or permits third parties to collect information for targeted advertising, we will describe those practices and provide legally required controls at Your privacy choices and rights.
We may use automated tools to detect fraud, abuse, account compromise, prohibited activity, or transaction risk and to assist with ranking or recommendations. These tools may affect the visibility of content or lead to review, restriction, or requests for verification. Where applicable law provides rights regarding decisions based solely on automated processing, you may contact us to request information or human review.
9. International processing and transfers
BeeYard and its service providers may process personal information in Canada, the United States, and other countries where we or they operate. As a result, information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions and may be accessible to courts, law-enforcement agencies, or other authorities in accordance with local law. Where required, we use contractual and other safeguards for cross-border transfers.
10. Data retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain transaction and consent records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information, sensitivity, user expectations, operational need, and applicable law.
When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it. Some information may remain in backups for a limited period or be retained where deletion is technically impracticable or legally restricted.
11. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, taking into account its sensitivity and the nature of our Services. No system or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your credentials and should notify us promptly at support@beeyard.com if you suspect unauthorized account activity.
12. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to or correction of personal information, withdraw consent, request deletion, obtain information about use and disclosure, object to or restrict certain processing, receive a portable copy, opt out of targeted advertising or certain disclosures, or complain to a privacy regulator.
You may update certain account information and preferences through the Services. To make a privacy request, contact privacy@beeyard.com. We may verify your identity before responding. Rights may be limited by law, including where information is needed for transactions, fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, disputes, or the rights of others. Authorized agents may submit requests where applicable and properly authorized.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send non-promotional messages about transactions, security, legal notices, and your account.
13. Children and minors
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users must also meet the minimum age stated in our Terms of Service. If you believe a child provided personal information contrary to this Policy, contact privacy@beeyard.com. Additional age rules may apply in some jurisdictions.
14. Third-party services
The Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party services. Their collection and use of information are governed by their own privacy policies, not this Policy. Review those policies before providing information or using an integration.
15. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Services, our practices, or law. We will post the revised Policy and update the effective date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice or seek consent where required. Unless otherwise stated, the revised Policy applies prospectively from its effective date.
